LEONA M. ELDERKIN
SANGERVILLE, Leona M. Elderkin, 77, went to be with the Lord, October 25, 2002 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born January 17, 1925 in Woodland, daughter of John and Mildred (Green) Johnson. She worked for Dexter Shoe Company in Dexter for many years. She attended Grace Bible Church in Sangerville.

She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Joyce and Robert Drinkwater of Sangerville; a son and his wife, Galen and Deborah Elderkin of Sangerville; a brother and his wife, Oscar and Patricia Johnson of Sangerville; five sisters and their husbands, Helen Wilcox of Sangerville, Cora Frautten of Dexter, Kathleen and Athill Wilcox of Dexter, Viola and Joe Mayhew of Dexter, Carolyn and Vincent Brown of Sangerville; four special grandchildren, Tami and her husband, Joel Doore, Heidi and her husband, Andy Dostal, Scott Elderkin and his fiancée, Heather Hand, Michelle and her fiancé, Dave Croteau; three great grandchildren, Christopher, Courtney and Jordan; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Maynard Elderkin; brothers and sisters, Mabel Hewitt, Raymond, Beatrice, Martha Johnson. Friends may call Monday 6-8 PM at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford.
